So I was looking on musicians friend and the thought occurred to me that I could set up a small sound system just for my drums to set next to my hi hats. I play a really simple set up with one rack tom, 1 floor, and 1 ride cymbal, so with nothing where a crash would normally be I thought about picking up a small PA system.. Does anyone know anything about vintage drum mics? If I were to buy a set of 4 of them for said project, would they be expensive, sound better/worse ect?
