I will be helping A Drummer's Tradition man the museum room. There will be some really cool vintage drums on display along with a few George Ways from my own collection plus a few surprises! Come by and say hello if you can make it!

So here's pics of last night's show! It was fun but most people didn't even know we were upstairs with this display.

Steve - looks like your drums made up the bulk of the show offering! Great stuff. Again, the tangerine Gretsch kit is over the top. You've got some of the coolest drums on the block.

I got a laugh when I saw the photo of Rick James on the drums. Charlie Murphy does one of the funniest comedy routines I ever heard, about, Rick James. I'm including it for you to give you a laugh, it's hilarious.

Too many great drums to list here!

The Montrose Ludwigs are VERY cool. I remember seeing Montrose on either Don Kirshner's Rock Concert or ABC's In Concert series in the mid 70's. I *think* that might have been I set I saw on TV? Been a while since then and beautiful collection! Thanks for sharing the pics bet it was a great time.

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

John,

Yep, I'm very familiar with that sketch. If I had a dollar for everyone that said "I'm Rick James *****" as they walked past the kit I would've made an extra $30!

No mention of the vintage drum display in the review article about Drum Night in the latest issue of DRUM! Are you sure you and Rob were set up at the right event?Eye Ball
