Drum Stool Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I ran accross a pic of a stool wiith a snare drum on top of it. I thought it was cool so I decided to make me one. Everyone flipped out over it so I decided to make a few more. Disclaimer: "No Drum was harmed during this process. No extra holes were drilled and the drums are still fully functional and can be restored to a playable drum at any time"

So don't raise hell with me for mistreating a drum. So Far these are all black/while badged ludwigs. Im not sure if they are vintage but I do have a bunch of acrolites and supras I could have used.

I like it. I like the whole idea of it. And I'm sure if need be you can always find loner drums that may not be players, but could be prime candidates for stools.

I assume the padding sits atop the batter head, nestles into the rim. What did you place on the bottom? Or does the stool pole go through the drum to the seat bottom? Either way It's a cool idea. And since you're not harming any drums I don't see anyone here having an issue.

I'd be interested in the one with the silver sparkle snare. What would you ask for one of these? And that's awesome how you've made it work.

i like the look of them. it would be cool to print vintage ads on the seats.

i seen these on ebay years ago. i like the idea of it but must feel bulky due to not having alot of room at the bottom. and i added the table pic because its cool.

i sell cheap bass drums to a local guy who makes ottomans out of them, and i sell broken cymbals to a guy who make sconces and other types of lighting out of them.

lots of cool drums type stuff can be re-purposed into cool stuff. hopfully w/o sacrificing something vintage.
