How about when a drummer forgets his cymbals?

A famous "Jam Band" did just that once when they played here!

A friend called me and told me to pick out some nice cymbals,and meet him at the venue in around 2 hours........

Luckily,I had some thin Tran Stamp A.Zils I was able to loan/sell the drummer.........

I would have liked to have heard him play all nite without cymbals though.Hurting

The band I'm in now lost their former drummer DURING a gig. The guy fell into a bottle of whiskey and couldn't finish the show. One of the guitar players took his drums home and the drummer didn't pick them up for over a year...
