We used the house pa which has a small board on the stage, there was no soundman. Dick's is right on the river walk and is a hot spot for tourist, people don't come there to see a band, they come there to eat and drink. The band is just background music.
That is what the problem is. !

I've been there a few times, but not in the last 7 years, never saw a band there. With all the tourists you're bound to get somebody who hasn't seen a lot of live bands & thinks they should be as quiet as a home stereo, I've run into that.
Yes, it is noisy there, heck I had practically have to yell at my wife sitting right next to me!
