DW kit, can you identify? Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Trying to identify an older DW kit (I'm not sure if it's "vintage" or not, but I think it may be around 20 years old). It's got RIMS tom mounts, and looks like a Collecters badge.

It just popped up on Craiglist at a price I can afford. I've wanted a DW kit since the first time I played one, and I've never actually seen one at a price that I can afford.

Any ideas? Any thoughts on what would be too much for this kit?

You might consider just saying what the asking price is, to better judge whether it's fair or not, rather than asking others to speculate, & pull numbers out of the blue.

The asking price is $750, negotiable.

I didn't want to mention it because I was hoping for an uninfluenced opinion, but I see your point. I've looked around all night, and so far I'm not able to identify the year, it's not easy to find information on older DW kits (unless there's some kind of database out there I haven't found yet, or copies of older catalogs).

750 for all that? thats pretty b i t c h i n! The wrap is gorgeous... you cant go wrong with a DW, being that its the next best thing to camco, although Ive heard hayman was like the english version...

Yeah, to me it looks like a really good buy. It's hard to find information on older DW kits, though, from what I can tell. I just want to make sure that it's indeed a good kit, and that I'll get my money's worth. I'll probably take a look at it to find out the condition it's in, I can't really tell from the photos.

This is a collectors series kit top of the line from late 90's to early 2000's. the price is a real bargain.

Great price for the kit. Born on date should/could be stamped on interior of shells. I'd be there with $ in hand and give asking price..........then, walk/run quickly with a big grin on my face!
