I need these for a pre serial Ludwig KB "School Festival" snare I just picked up. They dont have to be perfect in the pitting department...but no rust please. I think the drum is from September 1963/64....can't EXACTLY make it out on the date stamp.

Also (from what I can tell) will need a BB muffler. Heres a pic of the drum.

Or do I need the knob muffler? Just saw one on ebay that looks like it would work as well. Im confused. I do know that I need an affordable P-83 and butt plate no matter what!

Crap. So it is going to be a red felt BB time then.

I dont think I want to put that much cash into this thing. Might be ebay time. Anyone interested in this for a project?
