Is there any collector interest in original early 60s soft carrying cases?
These were certainly not manufactured or marked by Ludwig but were available from a Ludwig dealer with the purchase of the drums.

yes, they are collectible, they are made by a few different companies artistic, McIntosh a few others for the drum companies!
Thanks vintagemore2000,
I suspected that there must have been some manufacturers that produced soft cases for different drum companies.
Fibre cases would have been the way to go ideally.
Back in the early 60s there was a point where my bass player and I went to gigs in his Austin Mini…..his amp and bass…my drums in his vehicle …I still don’t know how it happened.
It certainly would not have happened with fibre cases.
The snare, 9x13, and floor tom case survived….the bass drum case died.
As always condition is everything.
Drums are one thing…. survival of soft canvas cases are another …after 50 years?
My stuff is far from pristine.
