Early 60's Rogers Drums Sparkle Blue - Novice Advice? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Just joined the forum and I no nothing other than my brother had this Rogers drum set from what I think is early 60's. I would say not well taken care of but not terrible to clean up and restore either.

I am hoping I can get some advice. I am not looking to restore myself as I really no nothing other than he is looking to most likely sell them. I took some pics, hopefully I am attaching them and you will see them.

I really apologize for my ignorance. Don't be too hard on me, just trying to help out a brother.

I have more pics that I can show but I think the forum allows 5 max.

Thanks

Not much restoration needed there. They look great! Heck, take the dust off and get new heads.

Welcome Chris,

My first few questions would be... How many drums in the kit, what are the sizes and does the snare drum match the other drums in color? Some more pics would be great. Looking good so far!

Just a start for me. Not sure if the condition was good or not so that helps. There are 4 drums total. A couple more pics attached but some fail to load.

I am going to try and get some help putting everything together and take another pic. I realize without seeing everything it is hard to put a value on it but that is a question and also how/where should I offer them for sale.

Appreciate the patience and help.

Nice, I would not mind having those. Chris, do you know how to set them up ? Make a side shot of the snare and small tom, and pics of the stands and pedals if possible. Any cymbals ? Pics of those too if you can.

Appreciate the responses/advice. I should be able to get them together with the help of a friend. There are cymbals as well and I will take more pics when I set it up.
