Early snare stands (and hi hat stand) Last viewed: 2 minutes ago

Loading...

Trying to get rid of stuff I don't use and start playing more instead...

I'm selling three old snare stands and a hi hat stand.

I couldn't find a maker on the hi hat, but it's complete and working. The chrome on the main tube is pretty good, the legs are more worn but still not bad. The cup that the bottom hat sits on is actually wood and I think original.

The first snare stand is marked Ludwig in a decorative script on top of the middle bar of the snare basket. The chrome is in okay condition but pretty rough on the legs.

Second stand I couldn't find a mark on either. The top clamp and bottom attachment points for the legs are cast aluminum.

Third snare stand is a Slingerland Shur-Grip in the same overall condition as the Ludwig. This stand and the others came with a Slingerland set I bought years ago...they were in the case with a 30's cloud badge snare, and the original owner had all his gear stolen except for the case with his snare and hardware. At some point he bought a sort of matching jam session bass and tom to complete it again. I assume this hardware is from the era of the original snare drum.

I'd like to sell these altogether for $75 plus shipping.

Let me know if you have questions or need more info.

Troy

And sorry for the pictures...I just spent an hour trying to get them resized from dinosaur smart phone onto dinosaur laptop.
