That.....they take out a whopping 10% on the shipping?

So,if you send a drumset to OZ....and it cost $400 to ship....you just payed $40 of their shipping?

Sounds illegal to me...but...what do I know?HmmmmHelp2

Ebay had "gift certificates " for a long time. I bought out 3 stores worth instead of using PAY-PAL. Damn if they pulled all of the cards and now issue Ebay cards where you have to PAY a fee to use it!!!!I stopped selling long ago. to many little pricks out there demanding the moon "or I will give you a negative feedback" I said **** you,I broke the item and I can't ship it to you, here is your money back, drop dead!......If there ever is another place were you can buy and sell-THE WAY EBAY USED TO BE' they will do fine. i hear ya. the old ebay was the best. i don't sell on ebay anymore (and do better on my own actually) and i didn't know they take a chunk of your shipping.

i never had issues with buyers or sellers in the old days. now i read and hear everything from problems with buyers, sellers, fees, scammers, etc...its just not worth it anymore.

is it still possible to list a item with local pick up only? i've been thinking about doing that just to clear out some stuff and make space.

EBAY is a for-profit business. They will charge for every single penny they can, like every other for-profit endeavor. They will evolve, exploit, and continue to find ways to extrapolate as much money from their customers as is legal, and possible. It is called capitalism, and it has been around for a little while..........

They started including shipping in fees a while back. Seems some smart people figured out how to get around the selling fees by selling for a $1, and charging $200 to ship, keeping the big money out of the loop. Ebay figured that out and changed their policy.

Seriously .I think EBAY is a rip off to people .

They will charge you on there coming and going ,It don't matter what it is .They will get your money some way or some how.

EBAY bought PAYPAL out years ago . Lot's of people just don't know that.
