Well this is the song that got me interested in drums. I knew of Chuck Ruff the drummer. Fantastic. But had no idea Edgar himself was so multi-talented. You learn something new every day...

I've viewed this video many times, as it is just plain fun to watch! Yes, Edgar Winter is very multi-talented!

As a drummer, I was fascinated to see him perform live in the 70's, playing drums as well as he played guitar, keyboards, and sax. The guy could be a one-man band.

Back in the day when you had to have talent and your own sound to make it big.

Thanks!

Have watched it many times myself. First time I'd noticed the bicycle horn.

Never knew Edgar played the timbales in the "question and answer section" of the drum solo and what ever became of Chuck Ruff? These guys were the first to do pop/fusion and sell it!

I saw them live right after Frankenstein came out. Rick Derringer on guitar. Edgar is a great sax player too. Also saw him a few years ago at a small outside thing at the local Harley Davidson place. They have a big area they put on music events. He was still kicking ass and taking names.

Man these guys pass away way too young. How old was Chuck when he passed(late 50`s?)Any one know? One thing for sure... is that stress is a killer and that comes hand in hand with show business.
