Just for fun lol

How many of you Men & Women have had your Significant other, Parent's/Parent or Caretaker. Just trying to cover all the basses before posting the question lol :O) Have said either the drums go or I go? Or you go! Now I'm not saying that my significant other has said that to me as of yet! lol. However she has said from time to time, It's to loud & without other instruments the drums just sound like allot of noise. Ouch that one hurts Hurting. Now for my 2nd question, Which is the same as the 1st. What would go? The drums? The Significant other? Or you with your drums? Walking

The last I heard from her, she was living in L.A. The best part is when you are playing, you cant hear her complaining.

My X complained i was immature and selfish by adding to the family income playing most weekends. She sure did,nt mind spending the money i made for her shoe closet though. When we thankfully split up a year later i did a very immature thing.......YUP,i gave all but one pair of her shoes to charity!!flowers2

The drums NEVER go man. No matter if you don't play them anymore, or not as much as you used to, or you play every weekend, or every day. Its your 1st love, your passion. Your family/significant other has to understand this. If they don't, maybe you should explain it and how important it is! If they still don't get it....time to part ways with said family/significant other. They all must have known what they were getting involved with when you started playing the drums, so trying to change that after the fact.....ummm, no.

Try showing them the movie The Rocker with Rain Wilson....maybe then they will get what its all about.

The ex went before my drums ever will.....true story! :p

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
