I call my friend Sean (Teenagebrain) Gladstone Gander because his amazing skills to find COB 402'S, 3 ply 26" bass drums, COB Wfl's and so on...well, today was MY day...I found a posting at 6:45 am down in San Bernardino for a crappy Pacific (BY DW!!! as everyone seems to emphasize) with cracked cymbals and whatnot...I checked the post just for the hell of it...and there it was: a 3 ply clear interior Piccolo B/O Champagne sparkle Ludwig SD...I'll keep how much I paid for the lot as a secret, Driving back to LA I found another set down in Glendora: a 3 pc 1957 Blue Sparkle Slingerland Radio king set w/ some hardware and a very beat up 16x16 BDP late 40's Beavertail Lug Floor tom... I'll keep the price to myself too...Then I got home just in time for lunch. After some delicious Chilean recipe Lentils went back to CL and there it was at the top of the list: Galaxy Sparkle Ludwig 14x18 KS Bass drum!!!!!! Wait! IT gets better! called the guy: he was in Silverlake (Like 20 min drive), Got there, bought the drum (price is top secret but you guys wouldn't believe it) and he asked me: "Do you need a snare or a ride by any chance?" "Sure!, what you got?

He went inside and returned with a KS BOP Pioneer and a 22" 70's Zildjian light ride!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid for everything and here I am posting this...I though it wasn't true but it is: Guys! EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY!!!!
