I have a 4 drum set with an Excelsior, New York plate. Can someone guess the age and value? and how I can sell them? See pictures.

66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp





once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

jaghog is being a bit harsh in his valuation. I like them, even if they are not really practical for modern playing.

Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

They made a pneumatic tuning snare.

Pretty interesting concept.

Dump them? Not a good thing to say on a site dedicated to vintage drums. Where are you located? I am sure there is a member nearby who would like them. If you are anywhere near Kansas City, Phoenix, or Sacramento, let me know. I will be those placed in the next week.
