After my auto accident/nerve damage ect, ect.I cant do rolls anymore. Not that I was that great before. What would be some exercises to get those muscles back and maybe do better, sharper rolls. Damn I have been listening to the first 2 Jethro Tull cds and listening to Clive Bunker got me wanting to supe things up a bit. Thanks,Matt

I suggest working in a very relaxed and easy tempo to Stick Control by G L Stone. The first page alone will get you into shape.
Also the Stone Killer workout which is:-
4 Right 4 Left **as is ex 13 in Stick Control**
8 Right 8 Left
12 Right 12 Left
16 Right 16 Left
Let your sticks really bounce back in your grip, don't be holding too tightly now because we don't want you hurting yourself.
Do this for a while (a few weeks) then maybe look at cooking up the basic Rudiments.
Good luck

I think it was John V who posted this a while ago. But it's a great warmup and may help you get back up to speed.

There's also some vids on youtube to see what it's about.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

It's all technique. The best "exercise" for your hands is to play it!
