Feeler- Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl Drum Sets - Including BOP Jazz Festival Snares Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Hello everybody. Years ago, I used to post here, but life took me in a new direction so I dropped off the map. I still have my old drums and am thinking seriously about selling them. I have a couple of mid 1960s Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl drum sets to sell.

One is like Ringo Starr's early smaller set, and the other is the larger 22" set. Both have all the correct Ringo hardware, including the Ringo cymbal stands, dog one top hat, the snare stand, seat, cymbals and even the BOP jazz Festival snares.

I have to pull them off the shelves to set them up and take pictures, which will do ASAP, but I wanted to see if I could get an initial sense of their values. They are all in really nice condition. I was a collector, not a player.

Any ideas? Would I be better off financially by selling the snare drums separately or together with the kits? Any and all advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks. M

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

If they're in the shape you say they are, then get ready to reap the rewards..

I saw an original, pretty mint earlier Ringo kit go for $7000, however, i don't know if it sold for that much.
