Hey gang- Fifteen years ago I discovered a set of drums in the basement of a friend, who had been involved with Bill Zicko's in 1969 in the development of a new drum- the thicker (Vistulite?) clear plastic that Zicko's was developing to compete with the stronger and more powerful amplification at the time. Keith Moon bought two early set's- and soon after Ron Bushy, Floyd Sneed and Bill Ward purchased early sets. My friend took one of two first prototype sets (with Slingerland and Camco hardware) to a trade show in California (prob 1970) He was picked up by Snead in his Rolls Royce convertible. When he got home he put it in his garage. This is one of two early sets created. Let me know what you think. Stan Herd
