That's a sweet kit you got thereCool Dude. I do have a soft spot for Gretsch. I would mount that 12" tom on a cymbal stand..DW...w/the Gauger rim mounting system. You could position the drum better, than on a snare stand. But, that's how I mount my rack toms. Enjoy your drums !!Welcome

Ah yes, always great to have another fellow Vancouverite on board! Beautiful kit! Lucky dog! I just sold a Slingerland logo bass drum head to a guy here locally who has a 60's Slingerland in silver sparkle. Always good to know that there are other vintage kits up here to keep mine company ... even if they never meet!
