Hey all,

Just recently become interested in vintage kits. Looking for Ludwig. Other than that I have no particular model or color in mind!

Looking forward to my first kit!

Thanks!

What sizes? 20 or 22 (or even 24 or 26)? I like to help people look.

Open to MIJs?

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

How about a 22/16/13 set in WMP from 1963? Nice players kit...with no cracks or extra holes...all 3 drums have 4-digit serial numbers. More pics and info avail upon request. Asking $1,000 plus shipping.

I can't remember the exact year--mid 60's. Chrome is nice, wrap is bright. Interiors were repainted (really well done). No extra holes or anything. I'm 3rd owner, but the 2nd owner just flipped them; he got them from the old boy who bought the originally.

Nice punchy 20" bass, with full-sized toms. This was a more common configuration with Rogers & Gretsch than with Ludwig, altho' there were plenty of kits with these sizes over the years.

I've got a red sparkle Club Date kit, so these aren't gettin' any play time at all.........marko

Hey Vinny,

Yeah...that's my set and I did buy it from Sean about a year and 1/2 ago. It most definitely is an awesome set, but since then I've picked up a '58 Luddy that I restored and is now my gigging kit and a late 40's Leedy kit, so this one has to go. I saw (and dug) that trans badge kit...love the wrap on that thing...nice score!
