That got your attention didn't it? I have a 60's Slingerland bass drum that has a crack (split) in the wrap on the bottom side of the drum. It looks like the wrap shrunk a bit and split, leaving a "V" shaped opening. Since the rest of the wrap is fine and the split is on the bottom of the drum I want to keep it and not re-wrap. My question is: Is there a way to stop the split from enlarging? Is there some kind of glue I can use? Thanks

There are just so many ways I want to reply to this...
But I shan't.
I've re-glued splits before, just use the glue sparingly. At the moment the glue I used escapes me... I'll wake up at four this morning with it on the tip of my tongue though...
