Flatbase Camco hi hat stand... Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Loading...

I came across a for sale ad for a "drum lot" which has mostly junk firewood drums by the looks, and in the corner of the pic there is a cool little flat based Camco hi hat stand.

he only wants 150 for the whole lot, should I grab this all just for the hi hat, or is it not worth much?

Camco hi hat stands i'm told are few and far between, so i would imagine they are worth something..They're also pretty solid from what i've heard..I would buy the whole lot for $150, cause then you could recoop by selling the kits separately for at least $100-200 each..That's what i've done before and have profited at the same time from doing that ;)..

I see a Ludwig vintage Throne in there…I'd go for them, resale the lot and keep the good pieces…

Some of those drums may be Slingerland.

I thought I saw slingerland lugs on some of the chrome toms too, but those same toms have the crappy cb700/Pearl tom mounts so...

So they added the mounts to the Slingies...probably a few 1/4" hols to fill.

Are you kidding - for 11 drums? You could sell only the rims and get all your money back! I am not suggesting parting all of it out - that's not how I roll, only a last resort. At the same time, that is the worse case scenario here. It's like less than $15 per drum, and a whole bunch of other stuff too.

A no-brainer. I flipped one of those Camco HH stands once - a fine stand indeed.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
