I'm just reading this months rhythm magazine, and in it is and interview with john stanier(of helmet fame, now with battles. ) anyway, he mentioned that in the studio, he puts small cubes of foam under the floor tom legs, saying that the drum "almost floats". Thought i'll give it a go. Would it make a difference in a live situation, or will it just benefit the studio. Later dudes.

It will work both live and in the studio, this is a very old and well know trick, especially if your floor toms have straight legs, it will make a huge difference, hence Pearl's reso feet that they market and sale for this very reason.
Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!
