Tom you'll love this kit. it looks to be a gene krupa 1n kit except the snare drum is an upgrade.
Folks - what are your thoughts on this Slingerland kit? Last viewed: 1 hour ago
Nice deal. Is that a 20 " bass drum?

Yes - 20 inch bass drum
You did good.

Looks like the mounted tom mount is a busted Rogers swivomatic mount. You can just replace it and use the Rogers mounts if there's the same kind on the bass drum. Especially if it was done at a drum shop to virgin shells. But there might be extra/old mount holes. You'll need to let us know. Great price and your going to really like the snare drum!
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Thanks, guys - I'm a life-long drummer but new to vintage gear. I appreciate the guidance. - Tom

Glenn this was one of the issue I was going to tell him about also the bass drum rim inlay is not correct also I hope the bass drum spurs came with the kit? but this is all that I see.
Okay, go easy on me...
The shells say P-020

Here are a few more photos.
Tom is the color of the shells a wrap or painted ? it should be a wrap from the P- 020 Stamped inside the shell ?
You did great on this kit. The Rogers hardware to me is a plus! Was the best back in the day. Just get the new and missing parts and use them as is! 12-15-58 I was 3 months old when those were made. baby crawl2
Mark yes I thought someone would mention it sooner or later!
