First up is a beautiful Ludwig 60's keystone badge 5x14 10 lug Supraphonic. This one had been tucked away for quite some time and is one of the nicest that I've run across. Serial number is 598640. Most likely a '68 issue. The finish on the shell and also the hardware is amazing. There is one small light scratch on one panel. No dents or dings. Has the small round knob muffler that works great. P83 strainer is super smooth. Has proper script logo snare butt. I noticed when I was detailing it that the hoops were lighter in weight. The bottom hoop even has rounded edges at the tension rods. Only theory I have is that someone did this for sound. Lighter hoops usually open drums up more. They are in very nice shape as well. There are four little indentions on the bottom edge of the drum. Just wanted to mention them and will include a pic. They are the same size and spaced equally apart. Never seen these before. No effect on sound. 20 strand wires. Heads are fresh. Remo smooth Ambassador up top and Remo hazy diplomat on the snare side. Please pm me here or email to if you have any questions. Thanks for checking it out.
