I'll preface by saying unfortunately I have no idea how to correctly pack and ship drums and am not equipped to deal with an angry customer! I'm in New York City and I can drive and meet just about anywhere in the general area, including parts of NJ and CT.
I also have no clue why my pictures uploaded sideways. I'll fix them ASAP.
Gretsch player's kit in WMP wrap, 20/12/16. Asking for $600.
8x12 tom - Stop Sign Badge from 1970. Same edge profile as Round Badge, great shape. Some wrap lifting near diamond plate, but heads go on without a fight. Resonant side hoop is not original. Resonant side tone control missing. Both easy fixes - see photo.
16x16 tom - Same specs as 8x12 tom but without wrap lifting. They were a matched set with all the same details. Legs original.
20x14 bass drum - from 1966. Late '60s Gretsch double tom mount was placed on the drum where the badge was...holes for original rail consolette covered. One lug needs replacing. Inlay is decent, missing a small section. Reso head is original. The Gretsch double tom mount is in good shape. Pratt muffler is in decent shape. Edges on bass drum not as clean as toms, but decent.
Modern heads fit fine and sit well on the shells. All paper tags are intact. All rods thread smoothly (except for the one broken lug, of course) and very minimal rust. Great player's kit. I've recorded with it extensively, but need the cash and the space.
Only interested in old Sonor Teardrops or possibly 60s-early 70s Premiers as trades.
Thanks!
