This is a September 11th 1968 Ludwig Classic 3 ply 14x14 floor tom. Would be great for a Downbeat,Jazzette kit or adding to a Super Classic kit. This drum in great condition. It appears to be original with the exception of heads. The Black DIamond Pearl wrap is vivid and unfaded. Has the beautiful clear maple interior that began in 1968. Has the very uncommon (most likely special ordered) upper AND lower round knob mufflers. Chrome hardware is very nice. Keystone badge serial number is 648255. 8 lug model sounds good tuned up high or down low. Has the tall floor tom legs, all matching tension rods and washers. There is a slight lift at the wrap seam edge between the two lugs. Not enough to need any attention in my opinion. All it needs is a new home.
