This is a super clean Ludwig 1965 keystone badge, 5x14 10 lug Supraphonic. Serial number is 139136. This would usually be a mid '65 issue. No date stamp inside on this one. Ludalloy shell has a great lustre and does not have the flaking/bubbling/pitting that many from this era have. This one is completely original with the exception of the heads which are new, Aquarian Coated on the batter and Remo hazy on the snare side. The finish on the shell and the hardware is very nice. There are only a few little pits here and there in the chrome finish and on the Imperial lugs. The shell has no dents or dings. Drum has the neat COB hoops without bottom drop gate that were some of the last to made during this time as they transitioned to steel hoops. The batter hoop has just a few little places in one area where you can see the brass up top. Has the white felt baseball bat muffler. P83 strainer works flawlessly. Has correct script logo butt end. Has the Ludwig chrome script logo 18 strand wires and original snare cords. Drum has been completely detailed and needs nothing but a new home. Please pm me here or email to [email protected] if you have any questions. It sounds as good as it looks! Thanks for checking it out.

SOLD-THANKS $450 (NOW 395) Shipped and Insured US48. Actual shipping costs anywhere else.

Nice drum Mike! I have two Supras, a 65 and a 66, so not in the market for another one sadly, but if you have any P83 strainers lying about that are in good condition, I'd be very interested!

Thanks guys. I've still got plenty of drums. Hard to say what will be next. Glad you're digging your Supra, Jim. That was a gem.

Sorry Adam...I don't have any extra p83's at this time. Might send a message to forum member "Surface". He might have something for you.

Nope. Not right now. I'm out of those. I sold a 5" b/o version last night. But no 6.5's. Made myself a note a week or so ago with your name in case I ran across a nice one.
