this is a sharp looking, great sounding 5x14 keystone badge supraphonic from one of Ludwig's many transitional periods. this one has a no serial keystone badge and has a date stamp of sept 1 1970 inside. it is also stamped "reliable anti-galvanic" inside. this is a shell that was intended for a blue olive badge and got a keystone instead. this puts the badge high and tucked under the head and hoop a bit. the badge is a little loose but has the original grommet and so forth. I have an acrolite that was done the same way. this is not uncommon during this period.
12 hole p85 strainer. script logo snare butt. large round knob muffler. all correct for this period. has generic snare wires with new Ludwig cord. like new evans coated g plus batter head and a nice evans 300 hazy snare side head. shell has no damage. there is some freckling on the bead and on the lugs. batter hoop has a dip from rim shots,i assume. I fully detailed everything today.
