For Sale: Ludwig WMP Transition Badge Super Classic snare Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Have had this one a few years now and time for a new home. This is a Ludwig Transition badge 5.5x14 Super Classic snare in original White Marine Pearl and chrome hardware. The wrap is in amazing condition. I've taken both a pic inside and out to give you an idea of the wrap, just a light fade to a nice vintage look. The drum has COS hoops as the originals were not on it when I got it. It has the correct Wfl P87 Classic strainer that works great. The drum has the very hard to find Ludwig script logo snare wires that were made for these drums. I've paid as much as 75 bucks for a set of these. Has the correct WFL snare butt and new Ludwig snare cords. Bottom head is a period correct Ludwig Weathermaster and has a Remo coated pinstripe up top. This one has the natural mahogany interior finish with 5.5x14 marked in white and a date stamp of September 30 1960. One of the latest Transition badge models that I've seen. The muffler is not correct for this drum but needed no extra holes and works just fine. It's a beautiful drum that sounds great. Please pm me here or emaill to [email protected] if you have any questions. Thanks for checking it out.

I played with the colours in your first outdoor pic, matched the head to a neutral computer-white. I hope you don't mind, it is Friday night after all... :)

If it's a more accurate representation like I think it is, that's a good thing, if not I can delete. Meanwhile potential buyers know the seller is not liable for this altered photograph.

That's pretty good! Here is an earlier pic of it awhile back for comparison.

That to me looks absolutely dead-perfect colour-wise. Truly a gorgeous snare drum. Hopefully it's already sold...:)
