This beauty is a 5x14 10 lug Supraphonic. This is a very early Blue Olive badge Ludaloy model with serial number 770308, making it a very late 60's or very early 70's issue. As you can see from the pics, the drum looks very nice overall. The chrome plating has a beautiful sheen to it and is super clean. There is some mild pitting on the drum. Most of it is seen on the front of the drum. This drum was in excellent condition when I found it, but still got the usual complete disassembly/detail process. It has no dents, dings or damage. This drum is completely original with the exception of the heads/wires. All matching tension rods with brass washers present. Has fresh heads which are a Remo Coated Ambassador up top and a hazy Remo Ambassador snare side head. Drum has an added bonus with a set of 20 strand Canopus wires installed with Ludwig orange snare cord. The wires give the drum a wonderful sound. Has the original 12 hole blackface P85 that works effortlessly. This model has the large round knob muffler and the Ludwig block logo snare butt. It's been cleaned, tuned and is ready to go. Dropped the price from 350 shipped to 275 shipped. This is less than what I have invested in it. Need to move it! Thanks.

You're killing me, where were you two weeks ago?

I just picked up a beautiful O/B round badge, it's spotless but it's not the pointy badge. Is there that much of a difference???

Sorry about the timing Norcoastal.

I think most of the sound changes from one decade to another may be the change in hoops. I don't hear much difference in the sound of the Supras that I have. If there is a difference, I'd say this one would sound more like a 60's Keystone model since it was made right at the end of that period.
