• Vintage Slingerland 1970s Shell Pack 13/16/22:

Normal wear, scuffs and dings on shells for a kit of this age. Some normal pitting and wear on chrome hardware. Not a showroom kit, but very clean, an awesome player and loud with great tone. I believe the shells are 3 ply with maple re-rings. The kick has 4 legs and two tom mounts as it is from an Avante model set: http://vintagedrumguide.com/images/slingerland_drum_sets/1973-slingerland-drumsets3.jpg No stands, other hardware, etc. included - drums only.

Asking $695.00 or best offer shipped to continental US.

• Early 1980s Slingerland 14x6.5 chrome over wood 8 lug snare:

Snare is mostly new old stock. Only non-stock piece is the throw tension knob as the old one was missing, as well as the snare wires. Looks, works, plays, sounds great.

Asking $195.00 or best offer shipped to continental US.

• Vintage Slingerland 1970s concert toms:

12/15 sizes. They don't match the above shell pack finish exactly (they are very close if you wanted to combine them), but were leftovers from a different kit I restored, so they are like new. Incudes stand.

Asking $395.00 or best offer shipped to continental US.

***All prices are pretty negotiable and I will also work a package deal or discount on the above items and shipping if interested. PM me if interested or with questions. Thanks!!!

Hi Gerald,

Looks to be the original walnut finish I believe.

Thanks!

Nice drums but they look like a refinish/stain job to me?? Not sure.

No, I think it is original. I have a similar kit with a factory teakwood veneer finish. This is a really cool kit. Looks like a good deal to me.

Yes - as far as I know, the shell pack is the original finish. Could be the lighting in the photo that throws it off, as the finish is a bit less orange than it shows.

The concert toms pictured are not the original finish, but were restored with a dark walnut stain.

Thanks!

There should be an M stamped inside the shells if those were not originally wrapped.

Does this M simply mean that they were not wrapped? (Specifically what DOES it mean?)

Thanks,

The large capiltol M stands for Maple. It was marked for clear lacquer or a stain finish. The P stands for Pearl, to be wrapped.
