I am also a fan of "going gray." My favorite wrap of all time! If I could just come across the right one (meaning a steal) I would have my dream kit! You can add me to your list of SBP lovers!

Your drum looks great Mike!!!

Cheers!

well Mikey glad you found your snare very clean, love it, now im looking for a kit to go with my snare......especially since there's one as minty as ours for 999 buy it now, so maybe this color is the new rare wrap good score....

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Beautiful snare, Mike. Just got the Rolling Stones Gear book (excellent btw) and there are some great photos of Charlie Watts playing his SBP Super Classic (before he went full Gretsch)...although I don't think he had the matching snare ;)

Super nice Mike! I just moved my SBP clubbies into the office where I can see and play them more. I think they are the prettiest drums I own.

Thank you!
