Regarding the "Artists against fracking" thread that got out of hand... and quickly at that:

Yeah, that one had to be removed as it did get a bit ugly, but we would like you all to remember that.. YES! .. this is a Vintage Drum Forum and we do try and keep it FOCUSED in that general area. Social commentary... politics... religion... all have their place and most certainly invite and deserve intelligent discussion!... just not here is all. Your understanding is of course greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

I sincerely THANK YOU ALL for the comments! Truthfully, there is a LOT that goes on "behind the scenes" holding down a gig of this nature. Tireless? Thankless?, as FFR428 so succinctly put... absolutely!, but not without it's positives! We have always strived to "let the membership be", and have their say, but of course there are limits. I greatly appreciate that the vast majority of you guys recognize that! THANK YOU!! Now, regarding backbeatkeeper:
