FS: 60s Ludwig Super Classic Snare Last viewed: 3 hours ago

I’m looking to sell my Ludwig Super Classic 5.5 x 14 snare. 267218 serial number dates it to 1966, no date stamp on inside of shell. Hardware is nickel plated…hoops are (believe it or not) nickel plated STEEL. Baseball bat muffler is intact. WFL Classic throw is complete and fully functioning. Puresound replacement snare wires. Badge is off center…classic Ludwig mid-60s quality! Some rust on the hoops. White marine pearl finish has mellowed nicely. Nice drum!

This snare is the same 3 ply composition as a Jazzfest. A Jazzfest is a 5 inch deep shell whereas a Superclassic is 5.5 inch deep and the throws are different. That's it.
