Hi Guys:

I am selling this snare drum which I believe is a Leedy Utility. It does not have any stamp on the shell or hoops but the throw is engraved Leedy MFG CO Pat Dec 12/11 so I am guessing that helps with identification. The drum is 14 x 4 deep. Not sure of the shell construction. Bottom hoop looks does not appear to be original and has a flange. Top hoop is completely straight. Two extra holes were drilled on the shell under the throw off, shown on one of the photos. The top hoop has some rust. The shell is in pretty good condition though it could use a good cleaning.

Unless the shells changed over time, the only metal shell Leedy Utility Model I have seen had an "inverted" bead in the middle of the shell.
