The long cymbal rod with extension is round, not hex. I updated the listing based on your question. Pictures need to be small to post here.

I am new to Rogers, and recently acquired a Tower kit. Is your round cymbal rod with tilter extension the one that will go into a 60's bass drum cymbal mount? If so, I'd like to know how to pay you...shipping to business address zip 46256 in Indiana. Thanks!

Check with the Rogers Owners Forum Catalogs for the correct style of rod you need. The retracting rod was usually an 18" hex rod, with or without the separate tilter. I have both pieces still a available. The round should work, as well.
