Yes you read that correctly, SlingerLeedy New Era. 4.5x14 with 8 lugs. This is a bit later version of the New Era made during the Leedy Ludwig era, and IMHO, even rarer. I have seen numerous Leedy/Ludwig versions, but this is the only SlingerLeedy I have seen. Pristine Silver Glitter, little to no fade, exc+ hardware with no pitting or scratches, COB stick saver hoops, etc. only "issue" is badge edges are lifted slightly, but that is nit picking. It deserves a good home where it gets played and enjoyed.

Check it out..... Let's put her at $400 plus shipping costs. You just won't find a nicer vintage piece from this era.

Powertone!

Now that is a seriously NICE drum! If it were in WMP I'd be MORE than tempted, even though it isn't a drum that Buddy ever played, as BR models are primarily all I do own/play. I also think it's fine to "pick nits"... especially so with a drum this nice!

Interesting that it is there "shallow" drum at 4-1/2" deep. Nice looking snare drum!
