Rimmel was a handmade drum from I think Bavaria(?) that ceased production in the 80's or 90's. but the drum production goes back at least as far as the 40's(earlier drums were branded Deri-----there is a very old Deri kit on ebay.de right now) There is a 4 piece Rimmel on ebay.de right now as well----this kit is the lower priced model without resonant heads on the toms----they produced ones with resonant heads too. Just go to ebay.de and search Rimmel----but in Musical Instruments, otherwise you will end up with more cosmetics than you care to see. There was an Orange plexiglass kit on ebay a few months ago, that was really a beautifull set of drums-----the hardware looks to be superb-----very substantial.

rimmel had smooth lugs at one time----i'm not sure when they adopted the Ludwig style ones. from the samples of Rimmel drums that i have seen , this one looks to be a late 70's example. they did continue to make drums into the 80's.
There is a link too some Rimmel drums history,I hope I can properly put it here
Super thanks to You Dule ! :D that's what I wanted :) I think my drum is somewhere between 61 - 70' the history is interesting and now I know why these metal harware parts are so good ,Big up from Poland :)
Hey guys. I have just been so lucky as to get my hands on an old set of Rimmel drums. But the brand name is broken. Do anyone know about where to get spareparts and a new logo?[Attachment: 110342]
