George Way 22/12/16 BDP Kit For Sale Last viewed: 42 minutes ago

It's not mine but it used to be! Of the 3 George Way kits I've owned this BDP kit sounded the best. Nice 3 ply Jasper shells. The only thing missing are the original T-Rods (has regular long tension rods that are drum key style). Send me a PM if interested and I will pass along the info to the owner. I will post in the for sale too but more lookers here!

Just the 3 drums. The second floor tom was sold to a different individual and the snare drum is still in my collection.

Johnny - Steve was the one who sold the drums to this guy! They were his originally. I think Steve kept the snare.

I purchased the kit around 5 or 6 years ago from A Drummer's Tradition. The kit was one of Robert's (owner of ADT) personal kits. At the time I also owned a Camco Oaklawn 20/12 with a GW 16x16 in BDP. When I found a 14x14 Camco in BDP I moved the 16x16 over to the GW kit for a 22/12/16/16 kit. The pattern however was quite different as you can see in the pics. I then found a 5.5x14 6 lug GW in BDP to go with the kit. My last add was a 14x26 GW concert virgin bass drum in BDP.

In the meantime Robert acquired another GW kit although it's incomplete. A 14x22 virgin bass drum, 14x14 floor and 6.5x14 16 lug snare. We couldn't agree on a price so I finally offered up my 22/12/16 GWs in BDP along with a 5x14 Camco BDP Tuxedo snare and we did the trade. I've since found an 8x12 center lug tom to add to the kit. I just haven't picked out the right shade of faded gold sparkle to match the other drums yet. At $180 per sheet I need to get it right the first time!

The orphan 16x16 was sold when I was trying to sell the kit to buy the drums outright. I still have the 14x26 and 5.5x14 6 lug snare. It's now my bikini or 2 piece kit.

Now you know the whole story! If I had the cash I'd buy them.
