George Way Drums? Found 1959 3 piece Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Just saw a 1959, or 1960 George Way set for sale locally. I know nothing about them so I am turning to you all. It has a 22x18 bass, 14x10 tom, and a 14x5 snare. I think it might be missing the floor tom. It looks kind of rough, but so does any old dusty set that has been sitting for years. Is this worth picking up?

The guy is asking $1,000.

Photo's would help, sizes you give seem wrong bass should be 14x22,snare 5x14,Geo.Way made a 10x14 marching snare but not a mounted tom...Check for badge's..FYI if the drums are Geo.Way drums they = Camco drums before Camco were made..It's a rare part of a set but fineing a floor tom will be very hard.....Mikey

Carl, I might be able to help you a little. Dolfan(Steve is the man when it comes to this stuff). Another great collector is Joe Luoma. he is a camco guru as well. Thanks!
