I have seen this little clamp in my catalogue for quite some time but just now drilled down to see what in the heck it actually is. It seems to me like this might be a great piece of gear for adding hoop mounted spurs, a cowbell/block holder (that would not ding up your hoop) or a cymbal arm. Not vintage of course, but might be in keeping with the vintage vibe without drilling any holes. You could probably come up with hoop mounted spurs that would be more workable than the originals.

I am not entirely certain if this will clamp to a bass drum hoop with the head collar included or not.
