Gonna play my Trixon Speedfire on halloween night! Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Loading...

Looking forward to playing these on halloween night at a local club/bar. My motown/funk band plays the first Friday and Saturday of every month. I regularly bring vintage kits but never this one. Halloween night seems like the perfect time! I can't find a single youtube video of anyone playing a Trixon Speedfire kit live. That will all change very soon!

I made the soft case for for the bass drum last weekend.

Cool beans! You should cut out eyes, nose and mouth (pumpkin like) out of some black construction paper and tape them to the front head. Make that bass into a pumpkin!

Beautiful Speedfire setup. I love these, not just for the bass, but also for the bass-mounted snare (wasn't this done to enable the left foot to slide over to a second bass pedal?). Can't wait to see the vid of this set in action.

And really nice job fabricating the custom oblong case. Some nice sewing skills there.

You may cost the bar some customers! For anyone who's never seen the Trixon bass before - their gonna think they've had enough to drink!! Kind of like the witch in the Wizard of OZ. Ahhhh, I'm melting....!

Awesome! Glad to see that there's a couple of us crazy enough to gig with them. Sorry, I've got too many projects going. One bag took me several hours to make. No time for more.
