That would be to risky in my opinion. I would never buy an expensive drum kit without seeing it in person for myself, unless it was coming from one of our great forum members here like vintagedrumbug, mlayton, vmoore2000 or one of the several trusted members that know drums inside out and outside in.

I mostly agree with you JCC as it's now floating over 1000 with 4 days left yet!

Sight unseen is risky for that kind of jack.

With that said, as it's over 1000, the current high bidder might have checked it out locally and knows it's worth that money!

I've been super lucky with sight unseen Goodwill cymbals, snares and 1 complete Yamaha kit but the most I've spent at any one given auction was 354.

Make sure to read the fine print on any possible 3rd party shipping options, that's how I luckily scored a 50's Turkish K among 8 other high quality cymbals from Denver's Goodwill. One could also call Ontario Goodwill and ask if a 3rd party shipping service is available if it's not specified in the auction details.

That $1201. dollar bid knocks me out of the game. I had someone nearby to pick them up, but my spending budget just ran out by a dollar. They'll be going to somebody else.

Good luck whoever it is... I'm out at this point. This one is going to be just a little too rich for my blood. Killer kit though, I had to try.

I sold mines for $1.600… Boy, those drums roarrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! Ill make an effort but Im afraid Ill be short too…I have a double 14x26 plus 10x14,16x18 ,18x20 red vistalite set to comfort myself with anyway!
