Have decided I want to sell this ...I do have another part to the strainer...not shown...it's the bottom part where the snare wires attach to it with one screw....so,,,,earlier version...that part is chrome..

What would be a FAIR price for this?...Must be around $300 something....wouldn't it?.......Or..am I way off...?

thanks...

Depends on how many parts need to be chased. Strainer is a tough one.

Top hoop RK stamped? Pic of the badge? Clips not original correct?

Would hope it's $300 all day long. Few more details always helps.

Thanks!

Nothing special here but I like them.

Both rims are 60's Sling COB rims...as when I got the drum..it was just a shell/lugs...and 2-3 coats of thick paint glopped on it!

Clips are Gretsch 60's....

There wasn't a badge from the factory...as this was a Full Dress drum with inlaid diamonds all around the drum over the Pearl or Sparkle finish......

You can see in the pics the little pock marks in a diamond pattern if you look closely....

You can also see that they put one right over the air vent in 1 pic...(I put the metal grommet in there after seeing it on one of Mark Coopers same vintage snares))

Blair, this drum may turn into a money pit. I think the best idea would be to put newer, less expensive parts on it and make it a player's drum. If you dump lots of money on rare parts, you'll have a very expensive non-original drum. Just my two cents.

Correct strainer: $175-$225

Two 4 hole extension brackets: $125-$200

Two RK hoops: $200-$250

Sixteen correct tension rods: $50-$100

Total: $550- $775Mind Blowi
