I have seen sloppy construction on all the major brands from the 60's and 70's. Of course, the instances of this on Rogers are far less...

That's been my understanding for a short while now - visited a Rogers guru a few weeks back. The ebay pics of Rogers interiors support the premise, always seem so clean and trim. Still, for some reason I prefer Ludwig. :) [the reason is the lug design]

Cool drumset.Satin flame wrap always reminds me of the transporter room on the original Star Trek.The aqua is my favorite.

The Satin Flame material was used to create part of the transporter room on the studio set. It's amazing how low tech the special effects were for the TV series.

I'm no "trekkie" but that is a cool fact

I remember reading that the "communicator" used by Capt. Kirk was actually a modified electric razor

...which is quite convenient, when you think about it:

"Scottie, beam me down!...uh, excuse me, I think I'll have a quick shave before I see Lt. Uhura"
