I just can't decide for sure but it looks like Grant Hart from Husker Du is playing an 8" x 14" Ludwig Coliseum snare in the videos of the show from London in 1985. What do you think?

Currently playing for loud rock and roll gigs:
1982 Ludwig Classic in white Cortex, 24-13-14-18 + Coliseum snare
For quieter gigs:
Early '70s Whitehall Tiger Eye Pearl 20-12-14-14
Neglected but thinking about:
Early '70s Sonor Champions in Rosewood, 22-12-13-16

I think Husker Du were 3 guys that sounded like the Apocalypse. Great band.

Seriously, I thought Coliseums had longer lugs, but it seems like a 7" or 8".

I'm assuming that their backline was rented; I've rarely seen Grant play anything but Slingerland. I assumed that was his kit of choice.
