Hi All,

Sparkletone here! Writing from Chicago and LOVE this forum. It's so cool to have a place to go where like-minded folks share the same love for one of my most major passions in life: Vintage drums!

What I play:

1962 Ludwig Super Classic Kit in WMP

1968 Majestic DeLuxe Kit in WMP (Japanese stencil kit, baby!!)

What I listen to:

1940s/50s Jump Blues, Rhythm N Blues, Rock N Roll: (Bill Haley and the Comets, Joe Houston, Little Richard, Jimmy Cavallo and his HouseRockers, Big Joe Turner, The Jodimars, Big Jay McNeely, etc.) Translation: If it's from the 50s and it rocks, jumps or swings, I probably dig it.

Who I play with:

www.thecrownvics.com

www.therhythmrockets.com

My favorite players:

Billy Gussak

Dick Richards (aka Dick Boccelli)

Earl Palmer

Sandy Nelson

Ricky Lee Brawn

Animal!!

My Current Wish List:

? Slingerland Buddy Rich Kit in Sky Blue Pearl

? Trixon Speedfire Kit

? Ludwig Chrome Over Brass Supraphonic Snare (6x14)

Looking forward to meeting you all! Will post pictures of my kits soon...

Thanks Bebop.

Krupa is one of my favorite as well. I'm not sure if you saw some of the Krupa stuff I have on the web site.

That page would be my top six and in no specific order.

Other then that I'm in Wood Dale, IL and in the middle of business move which should have happened in Nov 1, but being held up in city permits. Fortunately back up plan #1 is in affect!

I have been slacking on the web site and will probably have more time once in the new location.

Hey David

That link was pretty sweet. I find a new cool thing on your site every day. Anyways I have to say I wouldnt say it was my favorite if it wasnt true. I like that it doesnt have a pretentious feel to it that other websites have. On other sites drum know it alls spew out information just to achieve higher status. Here there is more of a community. Anyways I guess Ill stop praising for a bit. haha.

Cheers

Harrison
