Gretsch 70's natural finish kit $100 Last viewed: 1 hour ago

There is a Gretsch dark natural finish 5 piece drum set on the Lakeland Florida CL and the guy is asking $100 for them. If I lived closer I would buy them, but I am about 3 hours away. He says the chrome is badly pitted but I think it is salvageable. He said they are 70's model. The toms have the double mufflers, stop sign badge's. Here are the mounted toms. If someone lives close they should grab them. I can't grab the link from my iPad..

I would see if the seller can meet you at least part way. Offer to pay his gas and get him/her a case of beer or something. Make it into a little day trip. Too nice to pass up.

Well, I still think he has them. Here is the snare drum. He said he has the claws and trods for the reso side of the kick drum. Didn't have them in the pic. I looked it up and it is 119 miles from me. Tempting.

I wonder if the snare could be a COB ? Anyone have a clue? There gone. Someone bought them for their 12 year old kid.

Ohh well Shawn, to bad you didn't see this post earlier today. I would have been happy for a forum member to get them if I couldn't.
