I still own a similar vintage Gretsch kit that's 12,13,14,15,18,22. If they are in excellent condition, as you say, I wouldn't be surprised at a price anywhere between 2-3.5K.

Well you are getting 4 drums (no snare) Assuming they are traditional sizes 8x12-9x13-16x16-14x20

My opinion is 1000-1200 Max. If they are drop G stop sign 1200-1500 Max.

+1

stop signs dont command anywhere near what round badge do price wise, even 1st gen stop sign with round over bearing edges. 1000 is a very fair offer for the kit

I personally have a very late stop sign black nitron 8x12 9x13 16x16 14x24

w 5 x 14 COB snare

maybe not as collectable or valuable but still one of the best drums money can buy.

If Stop Sign Badges over Round Badges can save me $400 to $800 for the exact same drum, I'll take it. Round Badges do look pretty awesome, though.

depending on the year you will be getting the exact construction of a round badge kit minus like a grand

I would offer him $1200 and see if he sneezes

love my RB kits and wouldn't trade them for the world ...but those kits from the badge transition era of the early 70s with the SSB#1 are gorgeous

get a picture of the badge and we can narrow the year down by witch SSB it is
